The Town of Poultney, with mutual aid from the Village of Poultney, will make good faith efforts to keep the South Street bridge open to one-way traffic should winter snow start before the temporary bridge is installed and useable (which date is expected to be by December 1, 2025). Should the bridge prove difficult to maintain, the Town may reevaluate this approach. The Town of Poultney thanks the Village of Poultney for their aid in these efforts.
